Amalfi

This morning we got into our first port, Amalfi, and I can't believe my eyes. Maybe it's from living in LA too long, but the whole place seems like an art director created it for a movie shoot.

We saw the Vatican yesterday and it was everything you think it will be. Plus I had the best spaghetti carbonara ever made from a cafe on the streets of Rome watching all sorts of smartly dressed Romans scurry by.

We have met many very nice and interesting people on the cruise. We may be the youngest and only singles on the boat, so watch out! Last night we spent midnight in the hot tub under the stars in the middle of the meditteranean. I don't want to wake up!
