Ready, Set...
Well I am all packed - my 45 lb. suitcase is stuffed and ready to be shlepped around by every porter that ever worked the Mediterranean. My backpack is stocked with Nutrigrain bars and Ambien, earplugs and 27 types of identification. All I need is a trip slip from my parents and I'll be all set.
It looks like we might run into a bit of light rain the first few days in Rome and Amalfi/Sorento, but that doesn't dull my excitement at all - temps are still supposed to be in the low 70's and cloudy weather makes for good light for photos anyway.
This time tomorrow I'll be in a plane heading for Rome! See you when I'm Italian! Ciao Baby!
